"Oh Poor Dolly"

"Oh Poor Dolly" she sighs
As she notices that dolly is losing one of her eyes.
She wears black, but hopes for the best
She mourns and she waits and she tries to rest.

The fabric for this gown is machine embroidered on faille with variegated thread using a variety of stitches to give it a patchwork effect by Judi. 
The skirt has a zigzag edge with layers of tulle for a “Goth” illusion.  The neckline has a row of hematite seed beads embroidered along the edge. 
The sleeves are finished in the same style with a zigzag edge and a ruffle of tulle.  The doll is custom made for El to look as if it was found in a
trunk in the attic after being packed away, worn out from being played with by a child. 
Jewelry is made with black iris twisted bugles, and the necklace pendant is a cross with black Swarovski crystals.
