Stroll on the Beach

This ensemble is the classic sundress for that sunset stroll, and Gene knows how to work it.  The dress is one piece, with a halter top style bodice. It is made of embossed white chiffon with black polka dots, and is lined in light blue for a nice effect.  The top of the halter dress is completely edged in a hand worked Bead woven trim of white iridescent and light blue ceylon beads (please see close-up photos for further details).  The bottom edge of the dress is finished in scalloped stitching of white.  Her hair band is made of the same fabric and has been adorned with flowers.  Gene also carries a not-so-classic beach bag (known as a beach purse).  It is crocheted, with a bead woven strap to match the trim on the bodice.  The purse also has an adornment of flowers on the front.  Gene, of course, would not be caught dead without out her pearls for a touch of classic elegance, so she wears a single strand of pearls at her wrist, and a pair pearl dangle earrings.  To top off the entire ensemble, she shades her eyes with a pair of black sunglasses. 
After all, she wouldn't want to be recognized.
